TermMeaning
LadderA set of Uniswap positions (bins) opened together across a price range, managed as one position.
BinOne slice of the range, backed by its own Uniswap position.
ShapeThe weights that decide how much of the deposit each bin receives (Spot, Curve, Bid-Ask).
RangeMin and max price (or market cap) covered by a ladder.
In rangeThe pool's current price is inside the ladder's range.
Active binThe bin containing the current price; the only one that holds both tokens.
Single-sidedA deposit of only one token of the pair.
Quote tokenWhat the token is priced in: ETH, WETH or USDG.
TickA point on Uniswap's price grid; tick i = price 1.0001^i.
Tick spacingMinimum distance between usable ticks in a pool; bins are multiples of it.
Fee tierThe swap fee a pool charges, paid to the liquidity used.
Protocol fee7.5% of LP fees, sent to the Obol treasury.
Price guardminTick / maxTick: the slippage bound enforced on-chain when opening.
PoolKeyThe five fields that identify a Uniswap V4 pool.
PoolManagerThe Uniswap V4 singleton contract holding every V4 pool.
NonfungiblePositionManagerThe Uniswap V3 contract that mints positions as NFTs.
Impermanent lossThe value difference between providing liquidity and simply holding the tokens.
